ஓர் இரவு!
வழக்கமா ராத்திரி ஒரு 8- 9 மணிக்கெல்லாம் (வீட்டுக்கு போயிட்டா) ஒரு கையில ரிமோட்டும், ஒரு கையில செல்போனுமா டி.வி முன்னாடி செட்டிலாயிருப்பனுங்க.. நேத்தும் அப்படித்தான் வழக்கம் போல சாப்பிட்டு வந்து ரிமோட்ட எடுத்தேன், கரண்ட் கட்.. சரி என்ன செய்யறதுன்னு, ஒரு பாயும், எங்கய்யன் 75 ரூபா குடுத்து புதுசா வாங்கி வச்சிருக்கிற FM ரேடியோவயும் எடுத்துகிட்டு மொட்டை மாடிக்கு போயிட்டனுங்க..மொட்ட மாடியில மல்லாக்க படுத்துகிட்டு, ரெண்டு நாளா அடிச்ச கோடை மழையோட சிலுசிலுப்ப ரசிச்சுகிட்டே, தென்னங்கீத்துக்கு நடுவால மின்னுர நட்சத்திரங்களயும், பொளர்னமிய நெருங்கிட்டு இருக்கிற நிலாவயும் பார்த்துகிட்டு.. அப்படியே ரேடியோவ போட்டா, அதுல 'ராஜபார்வை'யில இருந்து 'அழகே அழகு' பாட்டு.. அடபோங்கப்பா 'சிப்லா' இன்னைக்கு 10 ரூபா ஏறியிருந்தா என்ன, இறங்கியிருந்தா என்ன.... என்ன பாட்டு.. என்ன இசை..என்ன காத்து.. சொர்கம் சொர்கம்ங்கிறாங்களே.. அது இப்படிதானுங்க இருக்கும்.

LORDS

Planned to go to Lords for the early tour but was negligent in getting out of bed and it was late for the 10 o clock tour. Luckily we have a 12 o clock tour.
Went to Lords by changing two trains, reached there in time. Lords is in a place called the Marlebourne.
Its a confusion when people hear MCC, they normally think of Melbourne cricket ground at Australia. But this is
MC*C* (not MC*G*) standing for Marlybourne cricket club. Its a nice and pleasant place in London.
Took some pics opp to wellington hospital and rushed to MCC. We were infact greeted by grumbling and haughty watchman
but the tour office was very amicable. ENg WI match at Tunbridge wells was going on. JOnes and Strauss were playing.
Tour Guide joked that AUs better be worried abt the pair.

We started on the tour. First the introduction of W.G. Grace. then to the long room which is the cricket memorabilia are stored.
Adjacent ot that is the meeting hall. By that time we went there, ICC meeting was going on. Peeked in to Sunny there along with
Dave Richardson of SA. otehrs, I couldnot recogonise. We then went to the Dressing Room. It was the higlight spot. the tour Guide told us that
Sachin and Steve waugh prefer certain places in that room. It gave me a very good picture of why it takes a minute or two before the next player comes out
I sat on the same place where Ganguly sat and ripped off his shirt and swirled it in indignation. IT was a geat feeling to be there
Then to the pavilions. On the way met malcom speed and shook hands with him.

The tour ended at the natwest center and I dead tired.
